Italian craft

This beautiful story begins back in 1825. The Bormioli family moved to Fidenza, where it produced its first glass. This continued to expand throughout the 19th century, and by 1903 the Bormioli family company already had 100 employees, and eight years later, 300 employees. In 1944, the company suffered a setback. The factory in Parma was bombed in World War II, destroying much of the company. In the further 20th century, Bormioli develops more and more and in 1972 it has its first major advertising campaign. In 1996, the first weck jar is made. The beginning of a grandiose success for the company.

Environmentally conscious glass production

Rocco Bormioli strives to produce with respect for the environment. The use of recycled glass and the continuous optimisation of production processes are just some of the steps the company takes to reduce its carbon footprint. Glass production can be polluting, but Rocco Bormioli takes responsibility by opting for renewable energy sources and innovative techniques that reduce the consumption of natural resources. The brand is committed to ensuring the balance between industrial production and environmental protection, without compromising on the quality of their products.

Authentic and innovative

Rocco Bormioli is proud of its Italian roots and stays true to its origins. Its glasses are still made in Italy, which emphasises the authenticity and artisanal nature of the brand. At the same time, the company is open to innovation: by experimenting with new shapes and materials, the brand continues to reinvent itself. Rocco Bormioli's strength lies in its combination of timeless elegance and modern innovation, making it a unique brand in the glass industry.
