How does mug engraving work?

We explain it briefly for you. The design is made together with you. Then the products are sandblasted (engraved) after which they are checked, packed and shipped. Was this too fast? Then read about it step by step, in more detail here:

Step 1: the design

You are in charge! What do you want to have engraved: a text or a nice logo? On which position of the mug and how big? It's up to you! Before the mugs go into production, you will always receive a digital proof for your approval. This way, you decide on the final result, so we can completely fulfil your wishes: very convenient. Step 2: preparing

The order has been placed! What happens next? Now production is prepared. The area to be engraved is cut out and glued onto the mug. Then the area around the part to be engraved is glued. Now the mug is ready to be engraved!

Step 3: engraving

Now the mugs are placed in the engraving machine. A hard sandblast engraves the right part of the top layer out of the mug, leaving the logo. This gives you a nice engraving and leaves a small relief, which is tangible. An example of this is the mugs Riké made for HORNBACH. Read more about them in the blog we wrote about them.

Step 4: packing and shipping

Once the result has gone through quality control, the products are packed. This should be well packed to avoid breakage. Should some products break, we can credit this for you. Once shipped, you will receive your order within two working days and can start enjoying your products!

Why should I have my mugs engraved?

1. Luxury look

Let's face it: such a sandblasted logo in your mugs looks beautiful. It gives your brand a classier look with more professionalism. Printing or engraving mugs: you can do both! Because an engraving is permanent, the logo can never disappear from the mugs. A print can sometimes loosen and disappear over time. When engraving mugs, we can guarantee that the logo will stay put. Also, the engraving is therefore resistant to intensive use, hot dishwashers and corrosive soaps. Nothing can get in the way of the engraving.
