Is your tableware summer-ready? Four glassware tips for the hospitality industry
It's summer and that means a peak time for the hospitality industry! But that also means a lot of glassware and crockery is needed. Is everything up-to-date and summer-ready? In this blog, we offer you inspiration for summer products that can all be printed with your logo. A carafe, festival glass or gin tonic glass: which quality product will you choose?
1. Water bottle, jug or carafe
In summer, there is always a lot to drink and bottles or jugs of water are often on the table in addition to delicious drinks. As a restaurant, it looks professional if these are printed or engraved with your logo. Water bottles are wildly popular because they have a cap on them, so flies cannot get in. The sleek design is a plus for the carafes, which take their elegant look with them. Still, the water jug scores best on pouring convenience, and it is easy to add things like ice cubes or mint and lemon.
2. Plastic festival glasses
When you see them on display you would hardly distinguish them from real glass, our plastic festival glasses. As real glass is usually not allowed at festivals, a wonderful alternative is now available. Plastic festival glasses are at least as nice to use as regular glasses, and also have a number of advantages, such as being unbreakable and recyclable. They can be used several times and are therefore more durable than disposable glasses.
3. Gin tonic or cocktail glasses
Who says summer, says cocktails. Delicious on the beach or a terrace in the sun: cocktails are always good. Yet they often require a special glass, which is why we have special glasses for gin tonics and cocktails such as martinis, blue hawaiis and margaritas. There are also champagne coups, and all from top brands such as Royal Leerdam. A lot of parties can be celebrated with that!
4. Long drink glasses
For those who are not so fond of alcohol but like an ice-cold soft drink with ice cubes, long drink glasses are indispensable. Here, too, Riké has a beautiful and varied range of glasses. Here, you can choose from sleek, straight glasses, divergent glasses or glasses with ribbed edges and flat pieces. The latter are also widely used for mixed drinks, or long drinks. Again, wonderfully summery and a must for any catering establishment!
