What are the different printing positions on a bottle?

Bottle printing: a great combination of good marketing, exuding professionalism and simply a convenient way to get your water! It is possible to engrave and print glass bottles. But on which positions of the bottle could this be done? And how big could the logo end up on the bottles? You can read about it in this blog!

Top front

Usually, bottles are printed or engraved at the top of the straight part of the bottle. See in the image the example of this. At this position, the logo is most visible and easiest to apply to the bottle. Depending on the size of the bottle, the logo could be printed 60 mm wide and engraved 50 mm. This allows you to show what your company's story is! Ideal right?

At the bottom of the front

Another good option for printing your logo on the bottles is at the bottom of the straight part of the bottle. This is a subtle place for your logo, but still clearly visible. The same dimensions apply for this position on the bottle as at the top of the straight side: also maximum 60 mm when printing the bottle and maximum 50 mm when engraving the bottles.

Extra large

Besides the 'normal' sizes on the right side, it is also possible to have the logo printed 'extra large', as it is so nicely called. This way, you can show big what your company is about and what it stands for. The maximum size for this is 75 mm. This is not possible for engraving the bottles.

Bottom side

Besides printing on the straight side of the bottle, it is also possible to have the logo printed or engraved on the underside of the bottle. This would be useful, for example, to indicate the difference between still and sparkling water. In addition, you could also have a nice text printed or engraved, all to optimise your branding! The maximum sizes for printing or engraving on the bottom of the bottle depend on the bottle size and vary between 25 and 45 mm.

All around

Caps

Besides printing or engraving the bottles, it is also possible to print the caps. This way, you can, for instance, make the difference between still and sparkling water clear or have your logo subtly printed on the caps, making it even clearer what your company stands for!
