The French style of Le Bistro

You know the drill: a lovely Friday evening after a hard week's work and you are sitting on the terrace ordering some food. As soon as you receive your food, you immediately notice something: the plates with a unique design. They look professional and are a pleasure to eat from. We were asked to make such plates for Le Bistro from Deventer. This allows them to use their plates for a long time and gives their guests a lot of dining pleasure: ideal!
Le Bistro is a bistro in Deventer where you can experience French cuisine. Because Le Bistro started out as a new bistro, they needed plates and wine glasses that they could serve their French experiences on and in. What was their need? Printing plates with the logo as well as a gold rim around the plate and printing wine glasses at pouring height. This way, you know how much wine to pour and the glass has a nice logo!
French plates and wine glasses
Because Le Bistro had a clear wish, we set to work immediately. The plates were designed with a gold rim and a green logo. The glasses were designed with an etched look, so the glasses would look elegant. This was approved and the printing process could begin!
From idea to reality
First, the logo and line around the sign are applied to the signs. Then a glaze is applied over the sign, which ensures that the print is protected. This makes the print dishwasher-safe and resistant to knife cuts. The glasses, as mentioned earlier, were printed at pouring height. The glasses printed with ceramic ink. Then the glasses go into the oven, where temperatures can reach up to 600 degrees Celsius. This ensures that the logo is printed all the way into the glasses and cannot be lost.
The result
The result is impressive. The plates and glasses turned out beautifully. Thus, the classic French style has been applied. So did the customer:
'I was helped well by Riké both by email and by phone. After receiving the engraved white wine glasses, we also decided to buy red wine glasses and opted for personalised plates. We were opening a French bistro so were looking for a company that could make a gold rim and logo on the edge of the plates, which would not get ugly after a few washes. Because the plates are coloured and then baked again, this is rock solid on them. Top service and so good value for money.
All in all, we are very pleased with the beautiful result of this lovely challenge. We hope we have thus helped tell Le Bistro's story. Want to know more about printing plates or wine glasses? Request a quote or contact us!
